Photography Adventures in Scotland & Beyond

I always value my client’s feedback to ensure I can offer the best possible guidance and experience. It’s nice to get great feed back and even better when clients return for another trip. Thanks for all your comments and for making the trip back time and again GC

The Lightstalker’s Skye and West Highlands Photo Adventure was the first multi-day photography workshop that I have participated in. Being the first, I was a bit nervous and unsure of what to expect but once we got started that feeling quickly dissipated. Glen had a wonderful itinerary prepared for us and was prepared with alternatives when the weather looked a bit tricky. He was always on hand to offer guidance or answer any questions we had. Glen made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and confident in what we were doing despite varying levels of photography skills, physical abilities, or even simply confidence on more “rugged” terrain. I am so glad I choose my first photography workshop to be with Glen; I couldn’t have asked for a better week. I look forward to the next trip I take with Glen, because I don’t plan on this being my last!

Skye and the West Highlands 2018 - Meg Hoechsmann, Germany / USA

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the Scottish Highlands and Isle of Skye. Glen is a great teacher with nice balance of instruction and standing back to let you find your own way. The locations were fabulous and we had plenty of time to explore at each spot. I’m looking forward to my next trip with Glen.

Skye and West Highlands 2018 - Cath Bunton , Newcastle Australia

Glen is very easy going and very aware of everyone in the group. If you want help you can get it and if you don’t he is hands off. Very friendly and makes the trip seem like a group of friends just hanging out and having fun. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Skye and the West Highlands 2018 - Christy Campbell, California USA

This was a trip with a difference – plenty of opportunities for photographs showing an alternative, quirky aspect to a less explored part of Scotland.

Moray Coast Workshop 2018 - Jane lambert UK

This was first residential photo workshop/tour and it will not be by last. Glen with his knowledge of both Skye and photography was able to take the group to the correct places at the right time of day and then show us how to get the best out of the situation. Although Glen had produced a full itinerary of what we were going to do we were not fixed to this as the Skye weather changed what we were able to do. I hope to join you again.

Isle of Skye 2018 - Clive Trewitt UK

Great teacher, fantastic insights on the locations, chosen with great care and attention…and a great traveling companion. Way to go Glen!

Isle of Skye workshop 2018 - Ludovico Guarini New York, USA

If I had the time and money I’d go on ALL of Lightstalker’s trips

Slovenia 2017 - Walter Allen, Scotland

This trip takes in the wonderful diversity and beauty of the Slovenian countryside; lakes, mountains and sea. As always, Glen’s well put together itinerary allowed for good pace at each location with plenty of opportunity for free time to explore on our own. Great accommodation and food to boot. Highly recommended!

Slovenia Photo Adventure 2017 - Juliette Packham, London

These two different photo locations provided me with new experiences and challenges as a photographer. The busy Cinque Terre with it’s colourful houses and many steps and the almost tranquil urban Toscana were two different places to photograph. The accommodation, food and the people in the group were all outstanding. Thanks for a great tour Glen!

Tuscany & Cinque Terre - 2017 Páll Jökull Pétursson, Iceland

It was amazing more than I can ask for. Very quick on the feet organizing around weather great with technical assistance and a great guide on the history.

South Iceland Sept 2017 - Jeane Catalano Virginia, USA
